Transitions help your sentences flow together. They also help the reader follow your train of thought. Your assignment is to Google "Transitions". Find a transition sheet that you can print out and keep with you for all of your classes. Then, write five sentences using five different transitions.

Inspite of Microsoft's monopoly in the software sector, Apple has taken huge market shares from Mircosoft in the last few years.
Sequence/Order:
Mircosoft's first operating system was Windows 1.0,which was developed in the mid 80's.Second came Windows NT in the early 90's,but it did not stop there. Several other versions of Windows were made,Inwhich many of you are familar with Windows XP,Windows vista and Finally Windows 7 the lates version Microsoft has released.
Time:
Microsoft has recently released a new version of it's operating system called Windows 7.

Did you know Mircosoft's Windows is not the only computer operating system out there,for example Apple's Macintosh runs on a similar operating system called Leopard.

Rather than staying home doing nothing with my life, I work and go to college full time as opposed to many youths in today's world.
ReplyDeleteEven though I tried to walk in my house quietly, my daughter jumped up from her sleep scared. Obviously, I was not as quite as I thought I was.
Without warning, the beautician cut my hair very short. Eventually I will just have to get used to it.
My car is nice and fast but on the other hand I would prefer to have a truck.
By the way I love to sing and dance. For example Salsa and Bachata are my two favorite to dance to, however I will sing to anything.
